Now, in order to use your mask effectively, here are some steps to use a mask recommended by WHO:
- Before using a mask, clean your hands with alcoholic hand sanitizers or soap and running water.
- Cover your mouth and nose with a mask and make sure there is no gap between the face and the mask you are using.
- Avoid touching the mask while using it; if you do, wipe your hands with alcoholic hand sanitizers or soap and running water.
- Replace the mask with a new one as soon as possible after the mask used starts to get moist.
- Do not reuse disposable masks.
